The First People of Texas

Before the Founding Fathers of Texas created the Republic, before the conquistadors explored our lands, the area around The Colony had small villages of people who farmed the land and hunted the game on the Blackland Prairie. Join us to learn more about the original Native Texans and view some artifacts from their lives here as we celebrate Native American Heritage Month at The Colony Public Library.
